My biggest human failing is my tendency to draw conclusions.  I do this based on whatever data I have, even if it's incorrect or incomplete (the data I have is _always_ incomplete).  This is why I avoid the news.  It provides me with data which lead to defeatist conclusions.  If those conclusions are correct, it's better to know, for certain, but since my data is always not just incomplete, but critically lacking, whether or not the data supports my conclusion can't be expected to exceed random chance.
