The highly energetic performance presents standard mainstream American Jazz, which by the time it was recorded was already antiquated but still enjoyed the support of many faithful followers, even in Europe. Of course the music is perfectly executed by first-class instrumentalists, but lacks any intellectual challenge and borders on entertainment.
